Service Description

During this 1 to 1 workshop, you will how to create a beautiful wooden pen using a lathe and woodturning techniques. You will start the workshop by choosing between making a fountain pen or a rollerball and what wood to use, for example, oak, beech, walnut, meranti among others. Then is getting used to using the tools and practicing on some scrap wood before you tackle the nice stuff!. Once your ready we will start turning down the pen blank. Then its the finish and assembly of the pen. This workshop takes around 2hours, you can book on to the planned workshop or get in touch and we can arrange a time to run one just for you. All materials are supplied just make sure you're wearing some messy clothes. All necessary PPE is provided. We just ask there is no baggy clothing, short sleeves and also all hair is tied back.
